I don't like the sound of mortadella slapping against the counter
I have been religiously watching food tv for decades, and I feel like I found a home with Sohla. I have never been so inspired to make so many new things while feeling completely unthreatened. Where have you been all my life, Sohla?
(Also, sorry, I’m in Ham’s camp. I just shake up all my salads so all the bites have an equal balance. 😂)
I'm gonna take a guess and say that she might like mortadella…
What is it w pro chefs and mortedella. Am I scrub for not liking bologna and its counter parts? Is mortedella to pro chefs as cortados are to pro baristas?
"Just know that you're wrong" gave me flashbacks to Emma's "And that's a choice…" from the Pickle Sandwich video.
THANK you for having someone old enough to appreciate the Seinfeld reference working at Food52. I’m a food writer and recipe developer who’s also available. Worthy; one might say.
Broke: Fried balognaWoke: Mortadella confit
Those whisk noises! BAH HAHAHA HA! Loved seeing both recipes start to finish. Definitely going to try one from this template.
Sohla genuinely enjoys cooking. It comes through.
Sohlae, this is so fun! What kind of knife are you using?
this was actually helpful
Ham's Chop't vs Sohla's Sweetgreen style – the eternal struggle…
Ay dios, que porqeria.
I have never NOT liked a video Sohla was in….she reminds me SO MUCH of my daughter lol.
when is your book coming out? do you have a publisher yet?
Laughing out loud at the whisking sound effects. Wonderful Sohla!
The italian salad doesn’t seem to have an emulsifier in the dressing? I have always thought that a dressing without an emulsifier (such as mustard or honey) will make the greens wilt and your salad soggy?
I would like to know why Sohla was on Binging with Banish for a few weeks and mysteriously disappeared…for it to never be brought up……anyone?
Clementine! And lovely food…
I love that the salads are only 1-2 servings.
Controversial opinion: team Ham.
As a German, I will eternally be offended by what Americans call Pumpernickel… That bread had fluffy air pockets. That is not Pumpernickel!
Team Sohla! I feel like my mood changes while eating something like a salad, so it's nice to have the option to change it up as you go along.
